Introduction:
Lareso Tibetan
Music Institute is an inter-denominational ministry in Tibetan Buddhist
world. It is working as a partnership with the local churches and
Christian organizations since 2002. It is committed to raise young
worship leaders in the churches and disciple them to share the gospel
through music among unreached ethnic Tibetan groups, to fulfill
God's Great Commission through the music, songs and literatures
in Tibet, Bhutan, India and Nepal and beyond. We are creating new
songs, making music, literature and planning to have a video film
in Tibeto-Burman languages, because good music, films and literature
captures people's undivided attention (mind, heart and soul). Written
word is so powerful and as we know "written word is often more
convincing than the spoken words." There is also the hope of
enhancing the quality of worship by providing music training and
assistance as needed to all believers, whether they are individuals,
organizations or churches. By the grace of our almighty God and
direction from the Holy Spirit, we have been able to create 45 songs
in Lhomi, 16 songs in Lhasa Tibetan,Dzongkha and sherpa.
Objectives:
1. To fulfill God's great commission through music, songs and literature.
2.To raise young leaders in churches.
3.To produce creative songs, films and literature, raise up songwriters
and musicians.
4. To have musical training in churches to develop their talent
